Meet Our Founder & President

Born in Detroit Michigan to Kevin and Cleota Porter, Candace N. Ford spent her early years in Silver Springs, Maryland.  After her family moved to Chicago, IL, she attended and graduated from Mark Sheridan Math and Science Academy and Morgan Park High School.  

Graduating from DePaul University, in 1998, with a Bachelors of Science degree in Accountancy, she began work at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP as a financial auditor.  Her accounting career continued with positions at various companies such as Sara Lee Corporation, Solomon Edwards Consulting and United Airlines.

Although maintaining a career in the secular work force, Candace was faithful in ministry at her home church, Abundant Life Teaching Center, under the leadership of the late Pastor James E. Watson.  She was involved with such ministries as the Intercessory Prayer Team, Tape Ministry, Sunday School Staff and Finance Ministry.

In 2005, God spoke to Pastor Candace to bring women together for the dual purpose of helping them to see how important they were to God and how they were placed on this earth for a unique reason. Pastor Candace believes that every daughter of Christ should know that they are fearfully and wonderfully made and that God desires for each of them to help encourage and edify other women of the Body of Christ.  

Pastor Candace  is a licensed and ordained minister, the founder and president of S.P.I.C.E.S. Ministry and Co-Founder of Love Clones, Inc. - a company that provides administrative, creative and instructional resources to various organizations.  She is also the Executive Pastor of Prayer Tower Ministries International, where her husband Apostle C. Kevin Ford, is the Overseer.

Candace and C. Kevin Ford reside in Chicago IL, with their seven-year-old son Nicholas and their one year old, Brianna.
